Here are samples from two collections, Umbrella Bones and Another Wrong Fedora and from a book-in-progress, tentatively titled My Brother Goes Down To The Sea.

Umbrella Bones

Umbrella Bones

 

was published in 1998 and is a collection of poems written during MFA studies at Warren Wilson College. The book was designed by Jo-Anne Rosen of Wordrunner Chapbooks. Composer Sakiko Kosaka wrote a 12-tone setting for the villanelle “Exit.” The chapbook has gone through two printings but is currently out of print.

 

Another Wrong Fedora

Another Wrong Fedora

 

is a full-sized collection published in 2005 by Printed Matter Press. Half the 60 poems appeared in periodicals or anthologies. Several have been translated and published in Japanese. The book is in print and can be ordered through:
